Information We Don't Collect
To be absolutely clear, Meet Notifications does NOT:

- ❌ Access or store your email content
- ❌ Track your personal information
- ❌ Store your meeting details on external servers
- ❌ Share any data with third parties
- ❌ Use cookies or tracking technologies
Local Data Storage
Meet Notifications operates entirely on your device:
- ✅ Your Google authentication token is stored securely in your macOS Keychain
- ✅ Meeting information is temporarily cached on your device only
- ✅ Your preferences (notification timing, sounds, etc.) are stored locally
- ✅ All data remains on your Mac and is never transmitted to our servers
Google Calendar Access
When you sign in with your Google account:
- We use Google's official OAuth 2.0 authentication
- We only request read-only access to your Google Calendar
- We only fetch meeting information with Google Meet links
- Your authentication is handled directly between your device and Google
- We never see or store your Google password
Analytics
🎯 Anonymous Analytics Only
We use Firebase Analytics solely to understand general app usage patterns. No personal information is ever collected or transmitted.
We collect anonymous usage data to improve the app:
- App launches and feature usage (no personal identifiers)
- General settings preferences (e.g., "5-minute notifications" - not your specific choices)
- Technical information like app version and macOS version
- Crash reports (if enabled in your system preferences)
We specifically do NOT track:
- Your email address or name
- Meeting titles, attendees, or content
- Any personally identifiable information
- Your location or IP address
Data Security
Your security is important to us:
- All authentication uses industry-standard OAuth 2.0
- Sensitive data is stored in macOS Keychain
- No data is transmitted to our servers
- All Google API communications use HTTPS
Your Rights
You have complete control over your data:
- Access: All your data is stored locally on your device
- Deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all stored data
- Revocation: You can revoke Google Calendar access anytime in your Google Account settings
- Portability: Your data never leaves your device
Children's Privacy
Meet Notifications is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
